Botania is the main magic mod of Project Overpowered; you will work with its content for almost the whole entirety of the modpack.

Machine Controller

This is a highly important recipe, because without it you can't get very far, but it can be somewhat problematic to understand.
The recipe requires a mana spreader with mana to be linked to the runic altar; the recipe itself takes around a quarter of a mana pool's worth of mana.

Once the correct recipe is placed into the altar, the mana should start flowing from the spreader to the altar, and you will see a green loading circle on the controller icon.
After that is done, you will need your wand of the forest and a Living rock to finish the recipe.
